Vision, Mission and Values

Our Purpose: People and families face barriers to accessing services

These include logistical barriers and physiological and emotional barriers caused by trauma, including violence, racism and historical trauma

Low income, limited education, and inadequate housing affect people’s ability to advocate for themselves, creating disparities and complex needs

Increasing household poverty, declining access to healthcare and the lack of housing affordability are overwhelming our communities’ ability to support residents

Our Mission: To connect people to services

To help people identify, understand and effectively use the programs in the human service delivery system and advance an integrated service delivery system through partnerships with other human service providers

Our Vision: Everyone has equal access to the services they need

We mean everyone has equal access to the services they need, no matter where or how they live. This does not mean everyone has the same service – it is about ensuring people receive individualized service

Our Values:

Community. We build relationships with people and organizations to respond to social needs and drive meaningful change

Equity. We recognize and use our privilege to learn, challenge barriers, and advance a more just and inclusive society

Excellence. We are committed to continuous learning and improvement to strengthen our impact and better serve our community

Nimbleness. We respond and adapt to changing needs, embracing change as an opportunity for growth and innovation
